Photography and painting, always in dialogue

Photography has never been a discarded early phase. Scognamiglio uses the camera to examine faces, gestures and psychological distance; painting gives these questions a physical surface. Gli Strappi even bring the printed photograph and manual intervention together.

The three new black-and-white photographs are presented as independent images, with descriptive captions only: their individual titles, dates and print processes have not been supplied.
